Overclutch

The fuller the board, the bigger the blast.

Effective September 30, 2026. Developer: Bogdan Shoyat.

The short version

  • Overclutch has no accounts and no sign-in. The developer runs no server for the game and does not collect, receive or sell your personal data.
  • Your progress and stats stay on your device.
  • The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect some data to show and measure ads, described below.
  • Purchases are processed by Apple. The developer never sees your payment details.

Data on your device

Overclutch saves your best score, number of games played, daily streak and last Daily Brink score, your current Endless run, and your settings (Chill mode, sound, haptics) on your device. It also remembers whether you have seen the tutorial and whether you own Remove Ads.

This data is not sent to the developer. Deleting the app deletes it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of Overclutch uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK from Google. The app uses these ad formats:

  • Banner ads: on the home screen.
  • Interstitial ads (full screen): may show when you leave a finished game, at most after every second finished game and at least 60 seconds apart. Never during play.
  • Rewarded ads (optional, you choose to watch one for a reward): offered after game over for one revive per run. Watching is your choice.

According to Google's App store data disclosure page for iOS (last updated 2026-09-29 per Google, retrieved 2026-09-30), the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect:

  • IP address, which may be used to estimate the general location of a device.
  • Non-user related crash logs, used to diagnose problems and improve the SDK, and possibly for advertising and analytics.
  • User-associated performance data such as app launch time, hang rate or energy usage, which may also be used for displaying ads, including sharing with other entities that display ads.
  • A device ID, such as the advertising identifier or other app- or developer-bounded device identifiers, which may be used for third-party advertising and analytics.
  • Advertising data, such as ads you have seen, used for analytics and advertising features.
  • Other product interactions, such as app launch taps and video views, used to improve advertising performance.

Google processes this data under its own policies: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Purchases

Remove Ads is a one-time (non-consumable) in-app purchase. It is processed by Apple through the App Store under Apple's terms. The developer receives no payment details. To restore it on a new device, open Settings in the game and tap Restore Purchases.

Sharing and photos

You can share a Daily Brink or challenge result as text through the iOS share sheet. You can also export a short, silent video clip of your run, which is made on your device; when you do, its caption (with a challenge code) is copied to your clipboard and the clip opens in the share sheet. Nothing leaves your device unless you pick a destination there. If you choose to save the clip to Photos, iOS asks for permission to add it. The app never reads your photo library and does not use the camera, microphone, location or contacts. Challenge codes contain only a board position and pieces, no personal data.

Children

Overclutch is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Ads and the data Google may collect are described above. If you believe a child's data was collected through the app, contact support@boggyapps.com and we will help you reach Google about it.

Your rights

Because the developer holds no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. To remove the game's on-device data, delete the app. For data Google collected for ads, use the consent and tracking choices above and Google's controls described in the Google Privacy Policy. Questions are always welcome at support@boggyapps.com.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Contact: Bogdan Shoyat, support@boggyapps.com.
